Default Desktop folder keeps popping up even after I delete it

Hi,
when i first got this computer I had 'my computer', 'network connections', 'explorer' and 'my documents' on the desktop. Then I got rid of the my documents and replaced it with a c:drive folder named leyla. (I also customized the desktop not to put 'my documents' there.) Then I transferred all my documents into the d:drive instead and put a short cut to that on the desktop. I erased the leyla folder so now I only want the my computer, network connections, explorer, d drive, and a folder I named games.
But for some freaking reason, the 'leyla' folder pops out of no where every few hours with only one empty folder inside (music). WHY??? I keep putting it in the trash can but it always comes back. It's really annoying me...
I even tried putting it in another folder just incase it shouldn't be erased but it ALWAYS comes back on the desktop. Does anyone know how to fix this?? Help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
