Default DDR 333 and DDR 400 memory together?

Can this work?

My new pc I am getting tonight and the ram (2x512 mb) is PC3200 DDR400 RAM, but then in my old pc I have 2x512 mb Mushkin DDR 333 RAM... I am wondering can I take the old Mushkin Ram and put it in my new pc with the DDR 400 RAM?

I am either getting this mobo K8N Neo4 Platinum or Abit An8 Ultra, both which support 400/333/266 non-ECC memory.

yup the ddr400 will run at 333 though

also, for preformance reasons, just keep the ddr400 in it, it decreases performoance if you run your RAM at 333
and a gig is enough for everything anyways
