Post IDE to SATA

I have 2 WD IDE Hard drives and I want to utilize my SATA features on my Intel DB915 motherboard. I have 2 IDE to SATA adapters/converters and the necessary cables. My question is concerning the M/S/CS settings on the hard drives. Currently they are set to Master and Slave. How so I set them when using the SATA adapters? And when setup properly, will the MB recognize them as SATA drives? Can I look forward to any problem that any of you have encountered?

Thanks in advance.

i would think that you just set them both as masters, since one will be sata and one will be ide. i never used the adpaters, but i have seen them, i wouldnt expect any problems.

you can get an adaptor that will allow you to plug a SATA cable into you IDE drives. Both drives would have to be set to master..
I've got some myself and they work fine, i dotn know where you would be able to purchase however.
