Im not excatly sure which speakers iwant to get to play BF2...probably 7.1 surround sound
how many watts would you guys reccomend for me so that i can have a good sounding gaming expereince... i was thinkin in the neighboorhood of 100w what do you guys think and i wont be upgrading these for a while....so ya they shoud be pretty nice i dont want to say abudget yet, i want to hear what you guys say first

Watts really mean nothing. It's the quality of speakers and all that really means anything. Don't buy on specs alone. Be sure you've heard the speakers.

not to sure with the speakers BUT make sure you have a 24 bit sound card as bf2 is compatible with 24 for best sound quality

7.1 in my opinion is overkill since it will cost you more and will not function very well, since most games are designed to work with up to 5.1 (of course it will work with 7.1 but not as well). My advice? Cheap and powerful: the Logitech Z-5300 5.1 setup. I have that, it's kinda old but works just fine and is plenty powerful!
You might have some difficulty finding them though, since I bought them 2 years back.

im gonna pik my sound card depending on which speakers i get.....
ill look into the logitech ones....also, what is the main difference between 5.1 and 7.1 surruond sound?? EDIT: not all of the speakers seem to have their own volume adjustment things....i dont know if this is such a good thing for me...
