Well first of all, people typically don't read really long posts, so just for future reference, a shorter version will get a quicker response. Secondly, you have basically tried everything that I have thought of, but I would suggest turning off anything that has to do with AOL or AIM, then if you are willing, turn off McAfee cause it uses a lot of resources. I uninstalled it from mine and used other programs cause it just slowed my machine down so much. All I can think to say is try reinstalling all the sound card drivers again ( I know you already did so, but just for kicks and giggles) and if that doesn't work, reinstall windows. If you reinstall and you still have problems, could be a mobo issue
