Couldnt that damage the CPU? Like void the warranty, or effect the cooling? Also, on the HSF it has a bunch of scratches and little imperfections, could that effect cooling? What I really need now is something to get off the wax that was melted into the microscopic valleys with my first thermal pad. I think that may be effecting my temps. Anyone know how to get wax off?
