X850XT vs 7800GT

um, ok, i increased my build budget by 150, and i am skipping the big hard drive, but will upgrade to a bigger one later, so anyway,
wich is the better card? They are both around the same price, and i was just wondering....

EDIT:
Forgot to mention, these are the albatron (7800GT) and saphire (X850XT) cards.......

also, system specs:

3500+
chaintec VNF4
X850XT or 7800GT
80GB hdd
1gb kingston
dvd burner

im pretty sure the 7800GT is the better card

well for now the 7800gt is better but i ahve a feeling that ati will shortly release one superior to the nvidia card, and so on. so u might wanna hold on a bit

yes. and about the same time the 1x00 is released, Nvidia will send the 7800Ultra into the fight. so, i would wait just a few weeks, and then you can see wich one's better

7800ULTRA:
( at least, what ive found so far.. )
32 Pixel pipelines
10 Vertex shaders
frequenties: 500MHz/550MHz (1100)

so that would be a pretty bad-ass card, wouldnt it?

For AGP the X850XT PE is the best. But, for PCI-E its the 7800GTX.
