Were building a basic computer for my brother that is going to uni on monday and it just doesn't want to work. Its in an american megatrends case, with a the motherboard and everything the same, just with a different CD rom drive and new graphics card. Its only running windows 95 and it worked fine last night but when we came to turn it on this morning it died and now says hdc failure, or insert boot diskette, we cant fix either.

Its driving us insane now and any ideas are greatly appreciated

well the harddrive probably went byebye. Try booting with windows 95 and see what happens.
