Default Installing XP home edition to XP pro

Hi there,

I am having Windows XP pro version in my computer. If I install XP home edition to XP pro, will it be successful? will the system get crushed? if I need to have a windows back up CD?

Well if you choose to format during the installation it'll be fine although i dunno why u'd want to defeature your OS like that. If you install overtop, it should be ok but there can be a lot of complications.
