Partitioning 200gig hdd using windows xp setup

Does anyone know how to partition hdd's using windows setup because i would like 3 partitions on my 200gig hard drive, what do i have to do/what is involved.

I believe all that you do is put your xp cd in and boot with it then go throught he process of isntalling windows and when prompted you can set up your partitions, there is also software you can use such as Partition Magic. Im not sure if you can just partition your hard drive only using xp unless you have to format and install windows again.
