Default What other laptops compare to the Compaq Evo N400c?

I knew someone that has a Compaq Evo N400c and the one thing I liked about it was the fact that it was so small and light and great for travelling. I was interested in buying one or something like it myself, although I'm not sure if they still make that specific laptop anymore or not, but none the less I was wondering if or what else out there is comparable to it. By comparable I mean more in size and weight, more specifically newer models that are very small and mobile. The specs of the model I was looking at were: PIII 700 MHz, 256MB RAM, 20 GB, NEC, CDrom, etc... its nothing special but would do what I would want it for. But as I said, new models are fine too as long as they are very small and lightweight.

i wouldnt look past the 12" ibook they are macs but they are good for portability and price. plus they look pretty cool. you should be able to pick up a second hand one from ebay or if u have money buy a new one.

I'd go with either the dell 700M or 600M. Both are really light and compact, and have a bit of power not to mention really good deals when partnered with coupons.
