Default BFG GeForce 7800 GT Vs GTX

anyone know the main difference between these cards and is it worth the extra money to go for the GTX?

found out the gtx is just a quicker card. But how much quicker for the extra £100

How much of a hardcore gamer are you and what would u use it for is question. I dont have any experience with either but i think if u can afford buy it.

No its not really worth it because a GT can be OCed to about the same of a GTX.

depends on ur whole system config itll be diff for me if i bought this card than if u got it and OC'ed it too but usually this a noticable diff my AWESOME 5700LE got 10 fps faster after i oced it but then again i do have 4 fans in my box:-\

Hardware wise,the difference is that the 7800gtx has 24 pixel pipelines while the 7800 gt has 20.

well.. i can still play everything on highest settings with my 6800gt.
and the GTX shurely wont last longer. so you have to chose for yourself
