Is this Dual Layer?
i have this, except its internal:

it says towards the bottom of the page it supports dual layer disks, so yes, it should work. good burner too!

page took a while to load... but yes, it is Dual Layer, since it says in the title 2.4x DVD+R DL, which means Dual Layer.
