try taking the ram out, and then cleaning the slots.

i switched the ram in slot 4 to slot 2 and the ram in slot 2 to slot 4 and now im running memtest as we speak. memtest takes forever!

If your not upgrading and this problem has occured then it seems that you need to clean the slots. Just get one of those canisters with compress air. That ought to rid the slots of any unwanted dust.
