ive got a sata 2 harddrive that supports NCQ i was wondering what is it and is it better han normal drives

NCG is Native Command Queuing
it basically creates an more rational order to the data retreival request so as to minimise the amount of movement the hard drive arm need to do, thereby decreasing seek and read time.
