i am thinking of buying new speakers either from Klipsch or Creative, but i can't decide between these 2 speakers. I am deciding between the Klipsch ProMedia GMX A-2.1 and the Creative Megaworks 2.1 THX 250D. Please tell me which one of these speakers are the better buy and why, and if you know of any other better speakers please tell me and why? the more info you have, the better i get to decide which ones i want.
please reply thank you |

I never thought id see the day that a Creative set would be better than, at most, a chicken let alone a Klipsch set but it does seem that the Creatives are better here. Peculiar. (better range and THX cert is always nice)

The JBL computer speakers are quite good. But if you want really good sound, don't mess around with those tiny buzzers. Buy instead a stereo amplifier and some good hifi speakers.
Used stereo amplifiers are cheap - just look at this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...&category=3280, if you can't afford to buy a new one: http://www.unbeatable.co.uk/CatalogueItem_5500.html You can get speakers too at bargain prices: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...PcY_BIN_Stores Last edited by Lorand; 09-05-2004 at 11:14 PM. |

You dont HAVE to get anything ... you might as well considering the Audigy2ZS (which i believe is THX'd) is not that expensive
