Default some help needed here

hi.
im currently deciding whether to purchase parts to build a new com or jus to upgrade mi current one.
mi current com is a pentium 4 cpu 2.0ghz with 256mb ram.
mi graphic card is currently a nevidia geforce mx400.
this come in a package when i purchase from acer.
never been upgraded b4.
can anyone tell me if i should build a new com or upgrade mi current one?
if i were to upgrade, what should i need.

i think it'll be easier if you just upgrade...

although its possible, since u said u have never upgraded a pc before.. its not gonna be any easier building a new one from scratch unless u have assistance.

so if u can, u can try listing more specs of your pc like sound card, hdd, cd drives, and if u can.. motherboard and psu.

if u wanna give building a new one a shot.. try this
