Mac has voice recognition, GREAT graphics; dock, buttons and everything, doesn't get viruses, very fast, the latest one Mac os X 10.4 Tiger has widgets etc, Great for Video Editing with Final Cut Pro, just 'State-of-the-Art'
on Linux and Solaris you have to manually install software dragging and dropping files in the right directories, that tells us a lot about these OSs...
Windows on the other hand is ok for games, although it is a virus magnet, that 'crashes' all the time...

I would definately have to say Windows XP Pro. Its compatible with just about everything out there. There are a few flaws i.e. Internet Explorer , no seriously it is a bit prone to viruses and worms. However, I would also like to experiment with Linux SuSe.

By the way, did you see this thread: Best Operating System

has to be linux at the moment, allthough im currently on win XP Pro, ii have dual boot onto RedHat 9, its ok but my wireless net card drivers arent linux compatible so i dont have any interent on there, if im prgramming then ill use linux, then just stick em on a CD or Pen Drive and boot into windows.... wonderful.

Default Windows

I would say winodws only because it's got great software support. Otherwise windows is a piece of crap and linux is way better.
