Red face could someone identify what this is?

could someone tell me what this white connector is for on this BLASTER Live! 24.bit 96kHz/100dB SNR HD sound card?

my guess would be a game port, or a port for the I/O front panel.

It looks like the socket used to connect the cd drive directly to the sound card, this is to enable faster transfers from audio cd's without using the IDE bus.

no i have the exact same thing on my sound card. if u have a speaker port in the front of ur computer it runs to that.
