Default Newegg shipment question

Ok today part of my newegg order came. Its for my new computer. I'm ordering from UPS 3 day. 2 boxes came, one for my case, and one for the other stuff. My PSU, monitor, and floppy drive. That I still have to wait till tomorow to see hwta happened. However, todays shipment was supoposed to come with the OS and free power splitter cable. It's no where in the box. I'm wondering if anybody else had this problem, or if you guys know of some secret pocket or something where the OS goes . Or is the OS coming differently. Or did they just forget to send it.

Also this is sorta off topic but I turned my CPU box upside down and sideways is that bad for it. And I also bought a hawkins HWU54D wireless USB adaptor, which was suposed to be for G and B, but the box says G only. I think I have a B router, cause my moms conection is 11 Mb/s, but will this adaptor work?

turning the CPU box upside down wont do anything, what do you think happens during shipment? And your card should be b/g or a/b/g compliant.

why did you go through ups? usuaully fedex express saver comes in 2 days.

do you have carpet or hard floor? in either case, i doubt it did any damage. I know its hard, but put your stuff away and keep it aside and wait till you get all your parts. lol

of course a fall could damage ur grfx card, but i doubt it did any damage. they think about these things when they design the packaging (yes-people are paid to figure out how to protect ur purchase )

turning ur cpu over isnt going to do anything harmful to it. a cpu is heated up, cooled down, worked hard, stopped suddenly, started abruptly, and electrically charged its whole life. dont worry-if turning it upside down DID in fact damage it....return it, u dont want that CPU.

as far as ur shipment situation.....it doesnt get much better than newegg. have u checked ur tower box for the OS. if its not there, dont worry....newegg will take care of u, i promise. worst case, they forgot it. theyre not gonna take ur money and they are not going anywhere. youll get all ur stuff....patience is vital to a successful computer build.

Never mind, got it all sorted out. The other stuff is on its way from New Jersey and Tenesse. As for the OS, it was in a box that I thought was OCZ's box, but turned out to be another box that newegg put the RAM, OS, and power splitter in. Kinda counterintuitive, but I'm glad it was there.
