i was looking on the Dell website to try and find the bluetooth model number to order for my laptop and i see that an option listed for my particular laptop is a 128MB DDR ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300 PCI Express card. I have the ATI MOBILITY X300 hypermemory card, but does this mean my laptop will support a pcie graphics card or do they really change the whole motherboard for a $69 option?
Another thing, anyone install the bluetooth module on a dell before? I've heard you can pick it up for like $12 through the parts department while they wanted near $50 to have it installed with the laptop. EDIT: Digging deeping into the dell documentation, my chipset does support PCIE. Are all the Radeon x300 cards PCIE and they just choose to lable the 128mb card as such?
