i got a
PowerLeap SlotWonder slot-1 to socket 370 upgrade. Upgrade comes completely assembled with Slotwonder adapter, copper heatsink fan and an Intel Celeron 1.4GHz, 100MHz FSB, 256K L2 cache CPU! for my dell gx1 optiplex...not sure how to upgrade..... installing new ram memory soon too...3 x Samsung PC100 256 MB SDRAM CL3 do i need to reinstall operationg system? do i leave old chip in? everything just plugs in and i restart my pc? im really lost with this stuff, im trying to learn.any help appreciated!!! You shouldn't have to reinstall OS.

Yup, just install and turn on that should be it.
