Cheap Laptop?

Hey does anyone know where i can find a cheap laptop? under 600USD? and NOT ebay ... i bought one from ebay and 6 months later my motherboard was fried! but i just need to know if anyone knows of any cheap laptops? thanks.

what are you looking to do with the laptop? with laptops you get what you pay for. so dont expect something extraordinary with a 600$ budget.

Nothin major, just not a compaq, gateway, or dell. compaq and gateway suck and dell no battery length and they get too hot. just something to do internet, watch movies, listen to music and school.

i mean, can yall give me some reviews on brands of laptops? i know compaq and gateway suck cuz i work on em a lot. But i just hear dell stink and shipping is outrageous.

you should look for microcenter ads if you get them cause sometimes they have some good laptop deals especially if you apply for their credit card they shave off another 100 bucks.
