cell phone problem.
ok guys, wonderin if u can help me out here. my friend just broke her cell phone and she is still under her plan with Verizon. she doesnt want to cancel the service cuz then shes gonna get charged. so then she called up verizon and asked about it and they said that she can use an old phone as a temporary replacement until the plan is over if she doesnt want to cancel.
so my friends friend has an extra cellphone, one that she just found. and my friend wants to use it. will she be able to? is there anyway that the past history on the phone can be traced? for example, if the past owner of the phone has filed it stolen ( which it wasnt stolen, they just left it there and someone found it) will the verizon ppl knoe about it, is it on records? im just wondering cuz i dont want her to get in possible trouble. thanks
