Nope .. No difference. I changed it back, no difference.

From your 3dmark stuff, they seem to fall in line with expected values ... do you have any other games u can use to test? (say UT2004? doom3? splintercell? farcry etc?)
Wow, that's the expected values for my system ..?! *cough*

I've uninstalled most of my high-end games like that, because it was just too stressful or I just got bored with them.

Here is a bios update for your board

There may be updated drivers here

Lionhead studios has also released the 1.1 Update
That update is a zip with a .ami file. What do I do with it?

I've got the latest B&W2 patch, didn't help my FPS issue though.

This shows u how to update the BIOS

From the Lionhead forums ... in light of that here are the 5.10s (mirrored here as well)

This is an interesting comment about Doom3/FarCry/HL2/Other-high-end-games vs BW2

Ive note that (about B&W2), people comment that dropping to PS2.0 helps remove performance problems

Strange the link seems to work once and doesnt work anymore ... anyways look for the one that says "W1, S5, Z9, M6, M5, A2, L5, L4, M3, L3, L2, L1, M2, M1, B1, S1, T9, A1F, L8F and newer series" (ie., the one that ends up looking the most like the app that comes with your motherboard, they're all the sam AFAIK) i.e., the WinFlash one

I installed the latest BIOS successfully.

But I did come across a potential problem. The last instructions were to "Load the Optimal Defaults" through the BIOS. This wasn't there though, only thing there was "Load the System Defaults" so I did that. I also had to change the CPU back to 400 MHz.

I have played B&W2, and many of my other games, and it's performance greatly improved compared to what it was like before I came here, but it still seems like it's not meeting it's capabilities, and still annoying.

I don't think updating the BIOS did anything significant. I ran another 3DMark05 test and it was similar to last times one.

Are there anymore tips or fixes you or anyone else has? If not I can't imagine anything else that can be done, so I think i'd be good just building my own computer.

The store I got to make this computer for me isn't a huge retail store, so maybe they used weird parts ..and set the Motherboard wrong. I dunno.

Do you have a "tried and true" game like UT2004? or doom3? or HL2? I ask because im not entirely familiar with the performance brackets for B&W2
