Question Liteon Dvd-writer

Hello ...

I want to buy this DVD-Writer which is shown in the picture below ..



what do U think about it ?? specially 4 those who tried it ...

if its over $55, dont get it. You can get it on newegg for $40. I dont know what your case looks like, but id say go with a black one.

I have tried Liteon CD-WR and it was perfect but I donno if the DVD-RW is as good as the CD-RW ..

yes, they are good quality, i have the Lite-On DVD-ROM and it works great. Although they are a little loud at times.

Judging from the faceplate im gonna hazard a guess that would be the 1693? In that case, I would reccomend you grab the latest firmware available for that drive ... from what ive been told, that not only helps reduce the P0/P1 error counts but also improves the burn acutal-speed per rated burn speed

Do notice, as noted on the box, limited support for DVD-R media so if you want to go that route, i would consider a different burner
