no it is not.
it will depend on the virus, but to be safe it isn't a good idea those virus can send information regarding the places you visit online, what you type, save, and view... etc.. so if u was to enter addresses, credit card numbers, etc.. they can obtain those information and use it.. so the best thing to do is to run an antivirus and antispyware on your computer first. if u want the best possible clean up, after that, u can post a hijackthis log and the members here can help you out.

do ur shopping on another computer that is safe. or use that computer to buy the stuff but use money order type if they're allow. easiest way is to just find another safe computer to do the shopping.
