I work a lot in Photoshop on PC and from time to time on Mac. And believe me or not, Photoshop is faster and more stable on PCs than on Macs.
For some time I was video editor at a television company. I worked on PCs and it was very ok. Never tried video editing on Macs, but what the hell could Mac do on video editing that PC can't?
So just get a test-ride with a Mac it and you'll see that the Mac-myths have nothing to do with reality...
