Default What the hell is up??

Ok, today I was on my computer and I get this message from Norton saying that "a recent attempt to attack your computer was blocked". Ok, I go into more details to see what it was, it says it is some unauthorized IP adress attempting to get into my PC... I say "ok cool it blocked it and now I am safe". BUT- For the past like 5 minutes it has attempted to get into my computer like 100 times, with 3 second intervals between them. I have no idea how to stop it and want to know what you'd recommend.

Here is a pic of the activity log- TELL ME HOW TO STOP IT PLEASE!!!

dont panik you firewall it stoping it. Just make your sure you ship is running tight. all port closed, firewall on every machine. You cant stop people from trying, but you can stop them from succeeding

Someone wants to see your pictures realy bad...lol! I would not worry about it too much, somewhere in your settings you should have the option to select (do not alert me to this attack again) or something along those lines, find it select it and rest assured that someone was blocked!

So, even if they try all those times and Norton is running, they cant get in?? Sorry for the over reaction, but I'm not a genius on viruses or anything, and this is the first time something this weird has happened.

well if its flagging up then if means its blocked and yes "they cant get in", but then if they did get "in" you would know about it unless you look into your firewall logs in detail So bottom line dont worry....be happy

Yeah if you detect it, its not going through.

Also, I once had (on a win98 machine) a message pop up when I tried to turn off my computer. It said "There are 8 users connected to your computer." Does this mean there are actually s or something related acessing my computer? I have one other computer (my new one) in a network with it, but thats only 2 comps.
