Only it isnt... speedfan works with that processor on other boards and it happened to him multiple times. Besides this is a
known issue with that board...

@Johnny Prefect, I think flashing to the newest BIOS would fix the problem. Just make sure you use an official file not a beta. It will alos fix the known cold boot problem where once in a million boots the CPU is fried.
