system file clean up application?

hi, got a lot of junk on my hard drive in the windows file. its really pig, like 1.96g. i think its all junk ive accumulated. any way to get rid of unused, un needed stuuff in there w/o ruining system? any help appreciated, thanks,

Have you tried System tools- Disk Cleanup?
