Invsible text in email/word doc?

OK guys... I am trying to pull a prank on the boss and i need some text to be invisible until it is highlighted... I tried with word and could not get it to work. Basically trying to make the text white.. with a white background. Yet it doesnt show up. Any ideas?

what version of word? in word xp all you would have to do is make sure the formatting tool bar is display. then the button on that tool bar with a big A change to white. Then highlight text and hit the button.

option 2
highlight text, format on menu bar, font, change font color to white.
