WWW. connection?

Hi I have just managed to install Norton Internet Security on my girlfreinds laptop, updated all on Norton OK, but cannot get onto the web. Cannot open a browser! I have looked at all the settings, well I think I have, but still no luck! Can anyone advise?? Thanks in advance. Neil __________________ T.T.F.N.
