What do you plan to use this computer for? (Gaming, watching DVDs etc.)

if your system is 6 years old, then why would you want to put a top-of-the-line sound card in it? What cpu and video card do you have?

I would probably just settle for the: Creative Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS.
But that's just my opinion.

I agree with elite, i'd go with either the Audigy 2 value or audigy 2zs. Since your computer might now even be up to the requirements for the X-Fi.
