Default Processor Overclocked

I just recently oc'd my pentium 4 northwood core and I would like to know if I'm pushing my processor 2 hard 2 fast. My default FSB is 133mhz and I upped it to 150 and the bus speed is now up to 600mhz. In order to keep my computer stable I had to up the default voltage on the cpu from 1.46 V +6%.

you needed to up the voltage in order to oc from 133 to 150? seems pretty low to need to do that. When you up the voltage, it shortens the lifespan of the cpu, but as long as the temps are fine, then there shouldnt be anything to worry about now.

So as long as the temps are fine my cpu will still last as long or maybe just a little bit less than it's expected lifespan.

it should last a little less than the expected lifespan. usually when you overclock a processor it cuts the lifespan in half

I don't have to up the voltage until i get to 150, but I have to put it as high as it can go which is +6%

I've just decided to clock it down some. 10mhz is not worth the 6% voltage increase on the processor.
