Default Web cam security wireless

Hi guys, Im new here. I was wondering if anyone can help me choose a wireless camera that can be controlled over the internet. What do I look for when I want it to be able to zoom on something far away and look real clear? Same as binoculars? 30 X 50? Please help, thanks.

a webcam? or like a video cam that is web cam compatible?

well, what is your definition of far away? like a distance of one side of the room to the other, or from your room to outside in the streets?

most webcams(if thats what you mean) are online compatible if ur trying to use for IM services and such..

well, u can just buy a security camera with the little tv. a standard one isn't relatively that expensive considering it will offer you the feeling of security.. and as for webcams.. i dont think there are any with that compatibility with crystal clear pictures.. but again, dont hold me to it..

heres an idea of what i mean

they have security cameras that can be wirelessly or wired to a network, and accessed from anywhere in the world. Check these out:
