Default motherboard and cpu switch

Well I just bought a Celeron with an hp motherboard from my friend. I'm tring to swap my entire gateway pentium 2 motherboard with the one i just got.

Ive hooked everything up right as far as I can see, except where the power button connects to but i found a slot for it, I turn it on and everything seems to run right.

It runs through all the memory and detects everything. Then it goes to a screen with a blinking underscore in the upper left corner and stays there. On my pentium 2 it does that too but stops after a few seconds and windows runs.

I do have access to the setup and tried a few things but the same thing happens. If anyone knows whats going on please reply.

Most of the time a windows installation will not work after switching motherboards. You might have to reinstall windows.
