one of those tests shows that the ATI x850xt pe outperformed the x1800xt, lol. And chef, please tell me that you overclock your cpu.

I would go with the 6800 or 6800GT for your video card, and a decent psu.

ooops sorry my bad. but if you compare your source and my source is that your source shows that the XL was better than or even with the 7800GT while my source shows the 7800GT and the XL do better in some areas than the other, so either your source is wrong or mine is....hmmm....
Also look at this http://www.hardwareanalysis.com/content/article/1813.1/ it shows the GTX does better than the XT but the XT does a little better (like 1fps) in Far Cry.

the guy says he wants to play cs, you can play cs with that card no problems you could probably play any game u wanted. but the 6600 or 6800 could be a better idea

Yeah, CS isn't very physically demanding compared to other games. You can play all settings maxed on a 6800 GT. I would reccomend a 7800 GT for sure though.

get a wired keyboard they work better than wireless
I very much disagree with this comment. The right cordless keyboard works equal to and sometimes better then a wired keyboard and they are much more attractive as you don't have a cord running across your desk. The right cordless keyboard should work flawless before even installing the drivers and with the right amount of research its easy enough to find one.

Can you please explain to me how its possible for a wireless keyboard to work better if they are the exact same board?

Do you really need me too? Hmmmmmm, In my comment I say if not better then a corded keyboard I did not say of the exact make and model, In this case it should be equal. Certainly should not be worse unless you factor in the fact that the wireless needs a battery or two but that would be nit picking as usual.

I'll do this for you though. My wife has a keyboard and mouse wireless combo that she got about 4 years ago or so. The keyboard in the set is the Logitech Wireless elite (not certain on the name) My wired keyboard I just gave up was the wired version. Besides having a cord it is identical to hers. Now mine I'd have to hit the dam F-Lock function key every time I would boot my PC and when I would forget I would usually end up getting annoyed while playing a game because I'd hit an F-Key and the game would minimize as something would pop up on my screen. Hers did not have this problem and it would remember if the F-Lock is supposed to be on or off by the last time. So you could say they are the same keyboard but one is wireless and the other is wired and the wireless work better in this case. Nit picking? yea sure but still there is your example. Is that good for you?

Anyhow before we are warned I think we had better keep this topic on track.

Edit:

if you get a wireless keyboard there could be lag time, you also may want to look into a better video card.
Also here . If you buy a really cheap keyboard then yes there might be some lag time. But when it comes to purchasing any equipment we should be making informed decisions anyhow so make sure that it is a quality keyboard before hand. You should have no problems with lag time if you make the right purchase.

I didnt know video games were physically demanding at all except the motion of your fingers. (and for you technical people those dancing games or w/e)

but I do agree with the 7800, eventually you may get burnt out on CS (took me about 2 hours to do so, but people are different) then you will want to play other games and you just wont get the same quality with a 6800 or 6600.

Well, thankfully i overclocked all my parts, including the X1800XT. When I can see a nice crossfire board come out I am gonna grab another X1800XT. I will post somewhere how that turns out.
