Alright, I feel like a moron because I cannot figure this out.
I have a Compaq with Windows 2000 server SP4 sitting on my network. Every time I log in with the network administrator account, I see quick error messages that dissapear before I can read them fully. I get to the GUI and the computer bluescreens. I log onto the local admin account in safe mode without networking, and dig up the event viewer. I come up with three messages, one (7009) saying that the Intel NMS service failed to start, (2001) saying the event log is corrupt, and (1000) saying Unable to open the disk performance object. The computer does not crash when is safe mode. It will not open any programs, saying they have caused errors and will be closed, regardless of how it is logged in. It blue screens every time I try to log in with the network admin account. Help!!
