Default F.E.A.R. resolution problems?

Has anyone had problems with their resolution in F.E.A.R.? No matter what setting I set it as, it will always end up at 640x480 resolution! When I first installed it, I could set the resolution, and I set mine to 1074x768. After beggining the game, I decided to change some settings. When I resumed playing, the resolution was at 640x480! in the graphics menu it still says 1074x768, but it never actually uses that resolution. I've restarted the game and my computer to try and solve it, but no luck. Any ideas?

Strange problem you have there. Only thing I could suggest is that you uninstal and reinstall the game.

There are many reasons why people have these cards I'm sure. The same can be said for the FX5900 128 . I suppose one could also ask why so many own that card as they are slow type of card!

The x300 SE came with my computer. I plan on upgrading once I get a couple more paychecks (My next ones go towards my car). Anyway, I figured out the problem. Theres a setting called "double pixels" (or something similar, I forget), and it turns the resolution WAY down (it was actually below 640x480!) I guess when I was fiddling with the setting I turned it on without reading the caption.
