Default How much is it worth?

Hey,
Sorry if this is in the wrong area, could the mod please move it if it is so?

Basically a friend of mine is selling his computer but he doesn't know how much its worth. The specs are:

Intel Celeron 3ghz, XP Home preloaded, 256ddr ram, 160gb hdd, dvd+rw.

How much could he get for it?

Thanks in advance !

That;s an almost exact copy of my mom's Gateway computer. She bought it second hand/used straight forom their site for $320 (i think) Only difference is she has 512MB PC3200, and only a 60GB HDD. So I would also guess ~$300 if it's in good condition.

The machine specs are a bit vague, can you provide a register dump using CPUz? see the CPUz section in QUESTIONS 101 on how to do it.

price in the UK will be a tad higher than the literal conversion. Perhaps around the £250 mark depending on how and to whom you are selling
