Default TV Tuner Card

I just bought a brand new tv tuner card off of ebay, and everything works great, the only problem that i have is that when i hit the record button to record tv programs i only get the video no sound when it is played back. I have the audio out from the tv card to the MIC of my sound card and can hear the sound when just watching tv. any ideas of what i have to do to capture sound on recorded tv stations? all the help would be great.

~Bump~ No ideas, i bought this card with the hopes that i could record some of my favorite shows, and i can but i have no sound. could it be a sound card problem, could i be hooking up the audio out from the tuner card wrong (i have the audio out to the mic in my sound card) should i look for a driver update for my sound card. If still no idea is where should i look/post to get this problem resolved. any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have options to change the record format, i have an option to change the audio format (wav, mp3 etc.) for mpeg IV, but that doesn't bother me cuz i record to VCD, best quality for less space

you have to conntect the "audio out" of tv tunner to "audio in" of your sound card. then in the software of tv recording u have to configure the source of audio. and you r done ... hitesh
