Default Sound Manager?

My older nForce2 computer had a driver that replaced the "Volume" taskbar item with an nvidia version of it that allowed me to adjust the bass, mids, and other things without having to tweak an entire equalizer, it was just 3 bars. My nforce4 board came with a dedicated sound card that doesn't have this feature to my knowledge. Does anyone know of any program that will allow me to adjust the equalizer settings easily, preferrably from the taskbar?
