Question Optical audio connection to a desktop

Hi ,

I have a mini disk player/recorder. Normally I use my Playstation 2 to play the CD media and then record via an optical audio cable on to the MD player. Is there any way to connect a desktop PC to the MDisk using the existing optical audio cable (it has a jack plug for the minidisk headphone socket).

Yes, to connect a desktop pc to your md via optical cable you'll need a sound card or motherboard with optical out.
