Unhappy Opera and plug-ins

I got rid of my IE6 browser and got Opera, but I can't view "plug-in content". Even when I do download the required plug-in, like ShockWave or QuickTime. I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing wrong.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you mean that the plug-ins are not working? Try uninstalling the thing and reinstalling it and then install the plug-ins that you desire, it might work.

you have to manually put them in(the extensions) the browser so opera knows how to read it
