View Single Post - Have DVD-ROM drive on laptop

Hello:
I have a DVD ROM drive on my laptop. I would like to back up a bunch of my music. I will need to resave this data as I continually add more songs to my library. WHich type of media would be best to perform this function (CD-R, CD-RW, DVD-R, ect)? I have never used a DVD ROM drive for the purpose of backing up data. THanks for your help.
