Formatting, but I don't have a key

I am about to format my hard drive, I am using XP SP2, but I don't have a key generator? any ideas?

Drop by your local BestBuy, Futureshop or Circuit City. They will have copies of Windows XP SP2 that already have keys and are available for a modest sum.

and since it has sp2, a keygen wouldnt work since you have to activate it within 30 days.

if you meant key generator, call microsoft and ask them, they will tell you why you dont have one.

but on a serious note, if you bought that pc (not build it) from like hp, gateway, etc.. they should have a key laying around somewhere with all those cd's and pamplets you got also, if not, you have to renew or buy another/new one

If you bought it from a store then the CD-Key should be on the computer, look on the side and top panels of the case.
