Default help needed plz, thank you

hi, recently i managed to find myself a nice peltier , so i read about it and it said that it would be great to have a copper plate between the cpu and peltier

so i found a little copper plate, the big problem is that it's too thick and peltier and copper plate can't fit between the cpu and heatsink

what should i do, what do you guys recommend?!?

P.S. i can handle the hard work with hardware, so you can suggest anything that can potentially work

thx

1) What kind of results are you expecting with the TEC?
2) Have you planned out all aspects of the cooler? If so, please explain.
3) For the copper plate you can either find a thinner piece of copper, change the HSF retention system, or not use the piece of copper; but that's really the least of my worries. I'm skeptical that it's going to work like you think it will.
