Unhappy The dreaded Big blue screen

Lately iv been getting a big blue screen this message

A problem has been detected and windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

then underneath is say uninstall anything you have resently installed and below that is:

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

can anyone exlpain whats going on. its happening more and more lately i havent installed anything in ages but this tends to happen when the computer has been on for a while and sometimes as i go to dial up for the internet!

make sure u have enough memory and harddrive space...also always remmeber the virus possibility

That usually points to a problem with your memory, time to swap around with your sticks of memory to find the source of the problem.

Yes I agree, its most certianly something to do with the memory. I did however find this microsoft page, you might find interesting.
