Could be Windows messanger- if you have atleast SP1 I think, know you can with SP2, go to ADD and Remove-Windows components and uncheck windows messenger, see if that helps!

i hate windows messenger... i think that AIM is the best messenger program out there

anyone agree?

Negative, AIM doesent fly well with me. I like apple's iChat and Yahoo messenger. they are cooler. Thats all I have to say.

Yea I hate any messenger really, but I do have yahoo installed

Yahoo is actually great. I forgot about their messenger service. they have alot of capabilities on there. can't argue that.

but a ? for Thechefxxxv... why dont u like AIM? did u have past problems with it?
